Napoléon-Louis Bonaparte (11 October 1804 – 17 March 1831) was King of Holland for less than two weeks in July 1810 as Louis II ( Dutch: Lodewijk II ). He was a son of Louis Bonaparte (King Louis I) and Queen Hortense. His father was the younger brother of Napoleon I of France who ruled the Napoleonic Kingdom of Holland from 1806 to 1810.

She was born as the second child and first daughter to Alexandre François Marie, Vicomte de Beauharnais, and Joséphine Tascher de la Pagerie. Her parents separated when she was five years old and, between the ages of five and ten, she was sent to live in Martinique.

Lucien Bonaparte (geboren als Luciano Buonaparte am 21. Mai 1775 in Ajaccio , Korsika , seit 1814 Principe di Canino e Musignano ; † 29. Juni 1840 in Viterbo , Italien ) war Angehöriger der Familie Bonaparte und Bruder des französischen Kaisers Napoleon I .
So genannte „Bonapartisten“, also Anhänger des verstorbenen Helden, setzten sich auch nach seinem Tod noch für die Thronansprüche seiner Nachkommen ein. Sie veranlassten, dass der dritte Napoleon, eigentlich Charles-Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte und Neffe von Napoleon, von 1848 bis 1870 französischer Kaiser wurde.
