Louis, specifically, is primed to take a step up this season after filling in for the injured Blake Francis for much of last year. The hometown guard ended up starting in 11 of his 16 games for the Alliance in 2023 and averaged 9.3 points and 5.5 assists (fourth in the CEBL).
They’re hoping to right that ship this year by building around their offensive imports in Jordan Bowden, Chris Smith, and of course, Ahmed Hill. To be fair, it’s similar to the roster they put together last year, which looked competitive until it was completely derailed by injuries.
