Lowville. Lowville is a town in Lewis County, New York, United States. The population was 4,888 at the 2020 census, down from 4,982 in 2010. He was born on August 27, 1904, in Whitehall, Washington County, New York, the son of Dominick Young (1872–1958) and Isabel (Izzo) Young (1882–1947). He graduated B.S. from St. Lawrence University, and LL.B. from Albany Law School. On June 6, 1929, he married Marjorie Farrington (1907–1988), of Lowville, and they had two children.

Founder of DeWitt Animal Hospital in New York, he practiced there until 1971. Dr. Matuszak owned Wa-Noa Golf Club in East Syracuse, New York.

Lowville Masonic Temple. / 43.78597; -75.49143. The Lowville Masonic Temple is a historic Colonial Revival building located in Lowville, New York. The building was constructed in 1928 as a meeting hall for the local Masonic lodge. In 2002 it was sold to the Lewis County Historical Society, and was used as a local history museum.
