Luigi Galleani, author of the anarchist classic, The End of Anarchism? (1925) was, during his lifetime, among the most significant and best-known anarchist-communists. Largely forgotten for decades he has recently been re-discovered by the generation of anarchists politicized during the alternative globalization struggles.
Luigi Galleani was an Italian anarchist active in the United States from 1901 to 1919. He advocated the use of violence to overthrow existing government institutions and eliminate tyrants and oppressors. He was deported to Italy in 1919 and his followers are alleged to have carried out the Wall Street bombing of 1920.
