Malvern College vergibt etwa 40 Stipendien pro Jahr (für eine Ermäßigung der Kosten um bis zu 50 %) in den Bereichen Kunst und Musik, sowie akademische Leistung und „Allround“-Begabung. Diese Stipendien sind durch umfangreiche und zum Teil schwierige Tests zu erlangen, was ihr hohes Ansehen innerhalb der Schule und auch von außen erklärt.
Das Malvern College ist eine akademisch selektive Schule, übertreibt es damit aber nicht. Die Schule erzielt konsistent gute Examensergebnisse. 2022 konnten Schüler 62% A-Noten in den GCSEs, 43% A-Noten in den A-Levels und 37 Punkte (aus 45) im Durchschnitt im IB erreichen. Das ist beachtlich! 50% der Schülerschaft belegt das IB in der 6th Form.
