Marcel Cachin est un homme politique français, né le 20 septembre 1869 à Paimpol (Côtes-d'Armor) et mort le 12 février 1958 à Choisy-le-Roi . Parlementaire socialiste puis communiste de 1914 à 1958 (excepté sous l' Occupation ), il est directeur du journal L'Humanité de 1918 à sa mort.

Marcel Cachin, né en 1869 à Paimpol, mort en 1958 à Choisy-le-Roi, est un philosophe, socialiste et journaliste français. Il a été le fondateur et dirigeant du Parti communiste français de 1918 à 1958, et le conseiller municipal de Bordeaux et de Paris. Il a écrit de nombreux livres sur la philosophie, la politique et l'histoire.
