24. Nov. 2002 · The two members could not play at all, and one of them was impersonating the bass player, Mark Lickley who did all the playing on that album. At any rate, Mark Lickley seems to be a very underated bass player. I really haven't heard much about him, but he seems every bit as talented as Mark King.

In the new year, Singleton and White were joined by Mark Lickley on bass and David Robinson on drums. The Lexicon of Love, Beauty Stab & How to Be a Zillionaire: 1981–1985. The band's first single, "Tears Are Not Enough", made the UK top 20 in 1981.

The Lexicon of Love was again performed live in its entirety on 18 December 2012 at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane to mark its 30th anniversary. Dudley reprised her role as conductor, performing with the Southbank Sinfonia Orchestra, and they concluded a four-date mini-tour at the same venue on 30 March 2014. Between November 4 and 9, 2015, the band and orchestra also performed at Liverpool's

Irritable Drummer Syndrome. ABC evolved from a Sheffield synth group called Vice Versa and, by the time Trevor Horn met them, had settled on a line-up comprising singer Martin Fry, guitarist Mark White, saxophonist Stephen Singleton, drummer David Palmer and bassist Mark Lickley.
