Die Tote in der Bibliothek (The Body in the Library) ist ein britisch-US-amerikanischer Fernsehfilm und wurde als erster der TV-Reihe Agatha Christie’s Marple am 12. Dezember 2004 erstmals ausgestrahlt. Die Handlung des Films basiert auf dem Roman Die Tote in der Bibliothek von Agatha Christie.
Die Bantrys holen sich ihre Freundin Miss Marple, um den Fall aufzuklären, denn der Polizei vertrauen sie nur bedingt. Bald ist die Tote identifiziert und der Verdacht fällt auf den Filmproduzenten Basil Blake, der mehrfach mit der Frau gesehen wurde.
Die Tote in der Bibliothek (Originaltitel The Body in the Library) ist der 31. Kriminalroman von Agatha Christie. Er erschien zuerst im Februar 1942 in den USA bei Dodd, Mead and Company und im Mai desselben Jahres im Vereinigten Königreich im Collins Crime Club.
