Martin Kent is the new HM Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific, responsible for growing the bilateral trade and investment relationship, improving market access and coordinating UK-based activity on the wider prosperity agenda. He joined from the British Embassy Tokyo, where he was Minister and Deputy Head of Mission, and before that served as HM Deputy Trade Commissioner to Africa.
Martin Francis Kent (born 23 November 1953) is a former Australian cricketer who played in three Test matches and five One Day Internationals in 1981. Career. Kent was a middle-order right-handed batsman. He scored 140 on his debut for Queensland in 1974–75 season [1] followed by 76 in a Gillette Cup game. [2] .
