Marvin Taylor, the co-lead singer with The Spinners, born and raised in Flint, Michigan, as a young kid, was always signing and had a personality and mind for greater things. He joined his first singing group, Soul On Ice, at the age of 10. He looked to legendary Midwestern R&B groups for inspiration.
