I’d put Who Are You on a higher level than It’s Hard, but then again I kid of liked Face Dances better than It’s Hard as well. Between Athena and Eminence Front and the title song, that album just felt like a Michelob commercial. Face Dances wasn’t typical Maximum R&B but more of a mature, relaxed, clever sound.
8. Mai 2024 · The Who - 30 Years Of Maximum R&B. It was good when I got it, but once you have every who album and some comps it's pretty useless. Haven't listened to it for 15 years! And the crossfades between tracks is irritating
2. Mai 2024 · The Who - Maximum R&B Live (DVD, 2009, 2 Disc Deluxe Ed For a DVD video is excellent and Audio is spectacular. This whole recording has been enhanced from the floor up, and will either make you a fan or a fan all over again.
