McFly are an English pop rock/pop band formed in London in 2003. The band took their name from the Back to the Future character Marty McFly. The band consists of Tom Fletcher (lead vocals, guitar, and piano), Danny Jones (lead vocals, harmonica, and guitar), Dougie Poynter (bass guitar, vocals) and Harry Judd (drums).

Geschichte. Die 2003 gegründete Band McFly erhielt 2003 einen Plattenvertrag beim britischen Label Island Records. Ihre Debütsingle 5 Colours in Her Hair stieg im April 2004 auf Platz 1 der britischen Charts ein und hielt sich dort zwei Wochen. Anfang 2005 wurde die Band mit einem BRIT Award als beste Popband ausgezeichnet.
