Synopsis. Joe Field and Mary are sweethearts, but when Joe leaves town to find his fortune, Mary becomes engaged to Jimmy Holt, a fine fellow with both money and social standing. Joe returns shortly before the wedding and, when he cannot persuade Mary to return to him, abducts her.
