Mann has contributed to the scientific understanding of historic climate change based on the temperature record of the past thousand years.
Mann is the author of several books including his most recent work, The New Climate War, which shows how fossil fuel companies have waged a thirty-year campaign to deflect blame and responsibility and delay action on climate change, and offers a battle plan for how we can save the planet.
