MHSA is a public high school that offers a core arts education in conjunction with college prep academics. Students can choose from nine art areas and pursue Pre-AP and AP courses in various subjects.
About. Milwaukee High School of the Arts (MHSA) offers students the chance to select an arts-focused major (creative writing, dance, theater, music, or visual art) and receive a block of instruction per day focused on that major. Students commit to one area of the arts for all four of their years.
