  4. 7. März 2006 · Mobile, percussionist Glenn Kotche's third solo offering, is his first for Nonesuch. Being a member of Wilco made scoring a record deal with his band's prestigious label a bit easier to come by, perhaps, but it's well-deserved nonetheless.

  5. On his third solo album, Kotche serves up another collection of compositions that give no indication that his main gig is drumming for a pop band. Instead, Mobile is made up of eight instrumental pieces, largely percussive, that chart closer to minimalist compositions of the latter 20th century.
