Posted on March 1, 2019 by index. Molly Kurvink lost her life when she fell into the freezing water of Guelph Lake when she had been ice-boating. Her husband, Harri Palm is still in the hospital. Inessa Townsend Fish comments, that they called them their sailing mom while reflecting on her relationship with her.

21. Dez. 2018 · It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Guelph musician Molly Kurvink. She died in a mishap on Guelph Lake on Wednesday, December 19. Molly was part of the popular folk band Tamarack. Her husband (who survived the same accident) was musician Harri Palm. Our condolences to her family, friends and fans. News stories: Her accident
Molly Kurvink's voice carries an abundance of emotion, whether singing about lost love in "I Wish It Would Rain," or about an environmental concern in "Those Fatal Lights. It is this mixture of several good singers that allow for the beautiful intertwining of voices on songs like "Dans le Nord Canadien."
Molly Kurvink joined the group for the Leaving Inverarden album released in 1995. James Gordon is no longer part of the group when Spirit & Stone (2000) is recorded, which features Alex Sinclair, Molly Kurvink and Shelley Coopersmith. Shelley Coopersmith left the group in 2002, being replaced by Duncan Cameron
