Aug. 2015 · Might be worth checking out. 1970s thriller Black Sunday also has a lot of tonal similarities to Munich as its also about the Mossad and terrorism (also with a score by John Williams), though less heartwrenching as it's pure fiction. Der Baader Meinhof Komplex is equally interesting, though similarly less powerful.
