I like Spielberg quite a bit and think he’s an extremely talented director, in fact one of the best visual storytellers in American film of the last 50 years. His top 3 for me are all movies I love—Raiders, Munich, Schindler’s List—with a number of other films I love too (especially Jaws). But there are easily 50 directors with a better top 3, maybe 100.
