Hij volgde de HAVO aan het Mollerlyceum in Bergen op Zoom (1991-1996) en ging bedrijfseconomie studeren aan de HES in Rotterdam (1997-2004). Hij werd afgewezen bij de toneelschool HKU, maar ontwikkelde zich via het amateurtoneel. [1]
