Mai 2024 · The Ronettes were an American girl group formed in 1959 by sisters Ronnie Bennett (byname of Veronica Bennett, later Ronnie Spector) and Estelle Bennett with their cousin Nedra Talley. Their single ‘Be My Baby’ (1963) was one of producer Phil Spector’s ‘wall of sound’ masterpieces and a defining song of the girl-group era.
