1. Sept. 1992 · A bold collection of electronically processed and heavily treated pop, Nerve Net features an array of notable guest musicians, including Robert Fripp, John Paul Jones and Robert Quine, not to mention Eno himself on instruments such as ‘African Organ’, ‘Moon Piano’ and ‘Tenor Fax’!
Auch "Nerve Net" klingt wie Früh-Techno, aber ist natürlich viel, viel anspruchsvoller aufgebaut. Trotzdem: es dominiert die Drummachine, ohne aber den anderen Instrumenten, die hochkarätig besetzt sind (Fripp, John Paul Jones, Richard Bailey... reicht's schon?), Raum zu nehmen..
Gemeinsam mit Intimus Robert Fripp entwirft Brian Eno auf "Nerve Net" wieder ein fein gesponnenes Geflecht aus naiv-simplen Minimal-Melodien und perkussiv akzentuierten Synthesizer- Wolken, die sich nach dem Willen des britischen Paradiesvogels zu "Landschaften zum Zuhören" zusammenfügen sollen.
