Plot. Detective Nick Carter boards an airliner with John Keller, the inventor of a revolutionary new aircraft at the Radex Aviation Company. The pilot makes an unscheduled landing so that his confederates can try to steal Keller's plans, but Carter holds them off, and stewardess Lou Farnsby manages to fly them to safety.

Nick Carter, Master Detective was a Mutual radio crime drama based on tales of the fictional private detective Nick Carter from Street & Smith's dime novels and pulp magazines. Nick Carter first came to radio as The Return of Nick Carter, a reference to the character's pulp origins, but the title was soon changed to Nick Carter, Master Detective.
Synopsis. John Keller, the inventor of a revolutionary new plane, is joined on his flight to the Radex Airplane Factory in California by detective Nick Carter, who masquerades as Robert Chalmers, the new assistant to plant president Hiram Streeter.
