Nick McCabe. Nicholas John McCabe (born 14 July 1971) is an English musician, best known as being the lead guitarist of the rock group the Verve . Early life. McCabe is the son of a bus driver father and a social worker mother [1] and has two older brothers, Alan and Paul. [2] .
