Synopsis by Hal Erickson. Night Club Girl was designed as a feature-length "screen test" for new Universal contractee Vivian Austin. The plot is the old one about a couple of young showbiz aspirants who are given their Big Break by a hotshot journalist.
Talent contest winners Charlie and Eleanor Kendall are given a hero's sendoff by their hometown of Windebaggo, Missouri as they leave for Hollywood to seek their fame and fortune.
