Das dazugehörige Album Nightbirds auf Epic erhielt in den USA eine Goldauszeichnung. Die Nachfolger Phoenix (1975) und Chameleon (1976) konnten diesen Erfolg zwar nicht wiederholen, festigten aber den guten Ruf des Trios.
Chameleon ist das sechste Album des Amerikanischen Funk/Soul Trios Labelle. Dieses Album war das zweite welches Labelle 1976 unter ihrem Plattenlabel bei Epic Records veröffentlichte.
