Nikitas Venizelos ( Greek: Νικήτας Βενιζέλος; July 1930 – 12 February 2020) was a Greek shipping magnate and politician who ran Venezelos SA. [1] He was involved also in politics. In the 1980s, he attempted a revival of the original liberal party, under the same name, while in the 1990s he supported the Political Spring party and Antonis Samaras .

Nikitas Venizelos, grandson of Eleftherios, inherited the residence of Chalepa. In 2002 the Ministry of Finance bought the residence and ceded it to the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”, in order to become the Foundation’s headquarters.

Nikitas Venizelos (Greek: Νικήτας Βενιζέλος; July 1930 – 12 February 2020) was a Greek shipping businessman and politician. He ran the Venezelos SA shipping company. [1] He was a member of the Hellenic Parliament from 1974 to 1981 and again from 1993 to 1996.
In the 2004 elections for the European Parliament, the leading Venizelist party was the Union of Centrists, gaining only 0.54% of the Greek popular vote. An attempted revival of the original Liberal Party, under the same name, was founded in the 1980s by Venizelos' grandson, Nikitas Venizelos .
