8. Apr. 2024 · In the 2010 Blur documentary, No Distance Left to Run, Albarn confirmed this notion. The song’s title, “Beetlebum,” references the phrase “Chasing the beetle,” which is slang for inhaling the smoke from heated heroin, morphine, or opium that has been placed on a piece of tin-foil.

12. Apr. 2024 · Altitude Films is distributing the two Blur films in the UK and they are both slated to hit cinemas later this year, but there’s no set release date yet. We’ll make sure to keep you updated on those. UPDATE: The Blur documentary – at least one of them – has been date for 19th July in the UK. Blur fans, rejoice!

Oasis were like the bullies I had to put up with at school.”
