Olli Ilmari Rehn (pronounced [ˈolːi ˈreːn] ⓘ; born 31 March 1962) is a Finnish economist and public official who has been serving as governor of the Bank of Finland since 2018.
Dr Olli Rehn is the Governor and Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Finland since 2018. He has a long career in European and international affairs, including as Vice-President of the European Commission and Minister of Economic Affairs in Finland.
Dr Olli Rehn is Governor of the Bank of Finland and member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank as of 12 July 2018. He is also Governor of the International Monetary Fund for Finland. Before joining the central bank in 2017 Mr Rehn served as Minister of Economic Affairs in 2015–2016.
