Red Dead Redemption 1 shows hopelessness in ways I've never seen games tackle. Recently finished the game and I found it to be still amazing in current day. Not only the qualities like presentation (visuals, music, voice acting), but the writing and world building was unbelievably well done. Creative directors and writers deserve all the applause.
