Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart shared some “back in the day” stories during a recent appearance on the Howard Stern Show ahead of the band’s Royal Flush tour. Among the stories were of their time spent touring and partying with Van Halen back in 1979.
On April 29th, 1979, Van Halen released "Dance the Night Away" b/w "Outta Love Again" on 45rpm. It is the first single from their second album, 'Van Halen II'. The song charted to #15 in the US.

If you know anything about me, be careful when you say, “Do anything you want!” And with that the pair were left to their own devices, but upon listening to the track Van Halen was less than impressed.
