www .patesgs .org. Pate's Grammar School is a grammar school with academy status in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. It caters for pupils aged 11 to 18. The school was founded with a fund bestowed to Corpus Christi College, Oxford, by Richard Pate in 1574.
All students study English Language and English Literature at GCSE, following the Eduqas specifications in both. There are three strands to English Language: reading, writing, and spoken language. There are regular opportunities for assessment and feedback in all three areas.
Computing. Drama. French. Geography. German. History. Mandarin. Music. Philosophy, Theology and Ethics (PTE) Physical Education. Spanish. Our student-centred system means we give free choice, under guidance of the pastoral and academic teams, as to which GCSEs a student would like to follow.

The school will do its utmost to ensure you are able to sit the exam in the full allocated time.
