Paul Kennedy is a J. Richardson Dilworth Professor of History and the Director of International Security Studies at Yale. He is internationally known for his writings and commentaries on global political, economic, and strategic issues, such as the rise and fall of the great powers, the military and naval history, the British foreign and imperial history, and the United Nations history. He has nineteen books, including The Rise and Fall of the Great Powers, Grand Strategies in War and Peace, and The Parliament of Men.
