Seit 2019 übernimmt Paul Manzi den Leadgesang. Auch Steve Priest betrieb von 2008 bis zu seinem Tode 2020 seine eigene Sweet-Formation, mit der er neben diversen Sampler-Beiträgen auch ein Live-Album veröffentlichte.

11. Apr. 2019 · Paul Manzi wird in Zukunft am Mikrofon von Sweet stehen - er stand schon 2014 für einzelne Gigs auf der Bühne. Sweet haben die Trennung von ihrem langjährigen Sänger Pete Lincoln bekannt gegeben.
17. Mai 2019 · Paul Manzi is an exceptionally talented vocalist/musician who has been standing in with Sweet recently therefore he was the obvious choice to continue with the high standards that this band has set. Pete will be leaving Sweet after the “Still Got the Rock 2019” Tour in May.
So to the future. Sweet are now very settled again. Paul Manzi on Lead Vocals, a “new” member Lee Small on Bass and Vocals alongside the old guard of Andy and Bruce. Keyboard/2nd Guitar duties are shared between Steve Mann when he is available and Tom TC Cory (from the Novatines).
