Five musicians were involved in the making of the proper debut single – Wendy Morgan (vocals), Simon Pickles (guitar), Greg Dixon (guitar), Pat Walkington (bass) and Shaun Charman (drums) – the last named being the one you should recognise as being the original drummer with The Wedding Present prior to him leaving in 1988.

  6. Vor 5 Tagen · Through this thread I've just discovered a load of Stump Peel Sessions I have never heard before. I bought at the time the original 4 track EP from '86, but had no idea they recorded three more sessions; another '86 sesh and 87', '88 ones for the show. It's all on YouTube.

Vor 6 Tagen · I normally prefer the album versions, even with The Fall, but Microdisney's Peel Sessions, especially anything from their debut album Everybody Is Fantastic, are mostly much better than the official releases. Compare the final track on that album with the unhinged and astonishing Peel version.
