Hi, my name is Peggy. I’m a reporter with CBC News in Winnipeg. Prior to moving to Manitoba, I reported for CBC Edmonton, filing daily for web, radio and television, while reading the provincial radio newscasts on the weekend. Peggy is a JP and the recipient of an OBE, an MBE, and Silver and Gold Bauhinia Stars. Respected Hong Kong activist Peggy is the niece of IM Pei. The founding chairperson of the Hong Kong Federation of Women, she also served as chair of the Wan Chai District Council for nearly 20 years.
She joined CCDC in 2007, promoted to Senior Dance Artist in 2022, and became Teaching Artist in 2023. Lam has collaborated with renowned choreographers, and performed in numerous productions of CCDC. She received the ‘Outstanding Performance by a Female Dancer’ at the 24 th Hong Kong Dance Awards in 2023.
I co-wrote, shot, directed, and produced the project, which started when I was 18. My film was released and screened at a festival at Roundhouse Community Arts Centre on Sept. 1, 2015.
