4. Mai 2024 · Peter Tetteroo met a French woman, who he called “Ma Belle Amie”, while on holiday in France. According to Tetteroo, he would see her every time he went to the beach, and he soon fell in love with her. He never had the courage to approach her, but she was his inspiration for the song.
