Peter Masterson (born Carlos Bee Masterson Jr.; June 1, 1934 – December 18, 2018) was an American actor, director, producer, and writer. He made his Broadway debut in November 1967 in The Trial of Lee Harvey Oswald, playing the title character.

Peter Masterson (1934-2018) was an American actor, director and writer who adapted "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" into a musical and a film. He also appeared in The Exorcist, The Stepford Wives and The Trip to Bountiful.
