Dave Rimmer. Past members. List of Uriah Heep members. Website. uriah-heep .com. Uriah Heep are an English rock band formed in London in 1969. Their current lineup consists of guitarist Mick Box, keyboardist Phil Lanzon, lead vocalist Bernie Shaw, drummer Russell Gilbrook, and bassist Dave Rimmer.
Phil Lanzon was born on March 23rd 1950. At the age of eight his mother arranged for piano lessons and three years later he got a taste for the stage. In 1966 he played covers of soul songs in his first band called THE LOOSE ENDS from south London. With this band he toured through Europe.

Phil Lanzon est un claviériste de rock anglais connu en tant que membre de Uriah Heep . Biographie. Phil Lanzon est né le 23 mars 1950. À l'âge de huit ans, il apprend à jouer du piano. En 1966, Phil joue dans son premier groupe, appelé Les Bouts, d es reprises de chansons. Avec ce groupe,il voyage à travers l'Europe.
Both Phil and Bernie are still in the band to this day, their first recording as part of the fold being Live in Moscow, celebrating Heep as the first western rock band to be invited to play in Russia. This was followed by a studio album called Raging Silence which was the start of the Box/Lanzon writing partnership.
