Philipp III. Arrhidaios trägt die Atefkrone und ist in altägyptischer Tradition im Profil gezeigt. Im heiligen Tempelbezirk von Karnak ließ Philipp III. den 1000 Jahre zuvor entstandenen Barkenschrein aus der Zeit Thutmosis III. durch einen Neubau ersetzen, an dem dieses Relief zu finden ist.
