  2. In 1984, Singletary took part in a workshop at Pilchuck Glass School for the first time. He has since been involved in Pilchuck as a teacher, student, and more recently as a member of its board of trustees. Singletary has blown glass around the world in countries such as Sweden, Italy, and Finland.

  7. Preston Singletary is a Tlingit glass artist who integrates glass art with indigenous sculptural art. He has collaborated with other indigenous artists and received a 2016 National Artist Fellowship from the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation. He is also an advocate for glass as a new medium for indigenous cultures and a cultural preservationist.
