Jenna Butler, a rebellious sixteen-year old girl runs away on a horse named Prettyface. Not wanting to be left behind, her best friend Marlena Penny follows her. When Prettyface is spooked and throws Jenna, the two girls stumble across a family living on an abandoned movie ranch.

15. Apr. 2017 · Prettyface is a great depiction of 1960’s Southern California. Like any good story it starts out one way and takes you somewhere you don’t expect. It is a dark, strange, scary movie that takes place in this beautiful glen-like world. The performances are fantastic, the cinematography is beautiful, and the soundtrack is psychedelic.
