3. März 2022 · Priscilla Mary Anne Reuel Tolkien was born at 22 Northmoor Road in Oxford on 18 June 1929. She was the fourth and youngest child, and only daughter, of J.R.R. and Edith Tolkien. Her brothers were John Francis Tolkien (1917-2003), Michael Hilary Tolkien (1920-1984), and Christopher John Tolkien (1934-2020). She was the last of her generation.

Priscilla Tolkien vertratt von Zeit zu Zeit ihre Familie in der Öffentlichkeit, so beispielsweise bei der Enthüllung einer Plakette zum Gedenken an J. R. R. Tolkien in Bloemfontein im Jahr 1992. Im selben Jahr veröffentlichte sie zusammen mit ihrem ältesten Bruder John das Buch The Tolkien Family Album , das viele Familienphotos und Anekdoten enthält.
