Pye Records was a British record label. Its best known artists were Lonnie Donegan (1956–1969), Petula Clark (1957–1971), the Searchers (1963–1967), the Kinks (1964–1971), Sandie Shaw (1964–1971), Status Quo (1968–1971) and Brotherhood of Man (1975–1979).

Studios & Systems. 1946. The Studio and Systems business would have to develop all the equipment needed to produce a Television programme. B.J. appointed a brilliant Electronic Engineer, Les Germany, who had joined Pye in 1937, to lead the design team with Don Jackson as the leader of the mechanical design team.
Pye Studios are situated in a fairly quiet road just off Marble Arch in London's West End. Originally consisting of just one cutting room and two studios, it now houses a reduction room, two studios, two cutting rooms, four copy rooms and a large tape library.
Pye Records was a British record label whose best known artists included The Kinks, The Searchers, Donovan, Sandie Shaw, and Petula Clark. The Pye Company originally sold televisions and radios and entered the record business when it bought Nixa Records in 1953.
