Janis Martin a débuté en 1956 chez RCA Records. Surnommée "The Girl With Elvis Presley Voice" ou "The Female Elvis" , elle n'a pas connu le succès qu'elle méritait et après 2 singles chez Palette en 1690, elle se retire du Show-Business.
