Yet, RCA Victor issued four studio albums of her recordings including Blue Starr (1957) and Rockin' with Kay (1957). In 1957, the single "My Heart Reminds Me" reached the top ten of the Billboard pop chart.

Kay Starr (born Catherine Laverne Starks; July 21, 1922 – November 3, 2016) was an American singer who enjoyed considerable success in the late 1940s and 1950s. She was of Iroquois and Irish heritage. Starr performed multiple genres, such as pop, jazz, and country, but her roots were in jazz.
Mit Wheel Of Fortune (1952), den zuvor Johnny Hartman für Victor aufgenommen hatte, und The Rock And Roll Waltz (1956, auf RCA Victor) hatte sie zwei Nummer-eins-Hits in den US-Charts und erhielt zwei Goldene Schallplatten dafür.
