The Raffles Junior College (RJC) was a junior college in Singapore offering pre-university education. The college was founded in 1982, following a separation from the pre-university section of Raffles Institution (RI). Raffles Junior College was merged as the junior college section of Raffles Institution on 1 January 2009.

RI is a leading Singaporean pre-tertiary institution for boys aged 13 to 18 and girls aged 17 to 18. We run the 6-year Raffles Programme with Raffles Girls’ School. We provide our students with the opportunity, space and support to explore their passions and interests, from research to sport and the arts.
In December 2004, RJC moved to its new Bishan campus at 1 Raffles Institution Lane. On 1 January 2005, RJC became an independent institution. In the same year, it also became the first junior college to be awarded the School Excellence Award, the highest award in the MOE Masterplan of Awards.

25. Feb. 2023 · Raffles Junior College, the pioneer institution for Junior College education in Singapore, was founded in 1982 as a temporary campus at Paterson Road. Its purpose was to offer the GCE A-Level curriculum, with both JC1 and JC2 students.
