With the backing of "Brother" Muddy Waters, guitar, Ransom Knowling (bass), and Little Willie Smith (drums), he performs outstanding versions of the songs "Pretty Girls Everywhere", "Country Boy" (by Muddy Waters), "My Home In The Desert" (by an unknown), and "You're Gonna Need My Help" (another by Muddy Waters).

John Mayall, OBE (* 29. November 1933 in Macclesfield, Cheshire, England) ist ein britischer Musiker. Er gilt neben Alexis Korner als einer der Väter des britischen Blues. Mayall zählt zu den Pionieren, die diese Musikrichtung von den Wurzeln weg zu experimentellen Formen brachten.
The Mayall tracks include two solo performances, one credited to the duo of Mayall and "Steve Anglo" ( Steve Winwood ), two pairing Mayall and Clapton, and one with Peter Green. Most of the playing is low-key blues, and Mayall holds his own with the homegrown competition.
