15. Nov. 2020 · Is Ray Cane still alive? I ask because he seems to be the one Honeybus member who never really is heard from. He wasn't on the tv doc about "I Can't Let Maggie Go", and I don't see many interviews with him, and Colin and Pete actually are seen and heard from time to time. Also, has anyone heard lone Ray's solo single?
13. März 2022 · March 13, 2022. Honeybus was a late sixties UK psych-pop outfit, featuring Pete Dello, Pete Kircher, Colin Hare and Ray Cane. The band released several singles and two albums in 1970 and 1972. Colin Hare joined Honeybus in 1967. After the band’s demise he recorded his first solo album ‘March Hare’.

The Honeybus Story. pre-1967 1967 1968-70 1971-73 All Music Guide. Pete Dello (real name Peter Blumson) and Ray Cane (Raymond Byart) had been working together in various London groups since the early 60's. Dello was lead guitarist with Red Tallis & The Tallismen and Cane handled bass duties with The Outlaws.
Ray Cane (1967 – 1973) Honeybus were a 1960s pop group formed in April 1967, in London, UK. They were best known for their 1968 UK Top 10 hit single, "I Can't Let Maggie Go". Since their heyday, have often been pigeonholed as a "one-hit wonder", a tag which many say belies the rich legacy of material left behind by the band.
