Welcome to Real World Studios. Set in stunning rural surroundings near the city of Bath in South West England, Real World Studios is a unique residential recording facility, where artists, producers and engineers can escape their daily distractions and focus solely on making music.
Residential. When it comes to studio downtime, Real World is as relaxing and restorative a place to be as any boutique hotel, with six luxurious bedrooms, a restaurant-quality kitchen and a beautiful dining room in the main house. Alternatively, a one-bedroom cottage is also available on site should you want additional space and privacy.

Real World Studios boasts a huge collection of vintage and modern audio equipment, and we’re immensely proud of the pristine condition in which it’s kept by our in-house technician. As well as each studio’s resident gear, a supplementary collection, including an incredible array of microphones, moves between rooms.
9. Sept. 2022 · Real World was opened in 1987 as the vision of Peter Gabriel’s perfect recording environment. Focused solely on making musicians feel as comfortable as possible for creative freedom, it flew in the face of conventional studio design at the time: Performers, producers and engineers all in the same room with plenty of natural daylight.
